Why virtual therapy?

I am currently offering virtual therapy. This doesn't mean the quality of the support differs. Virtual therapy eliminates commute times and other stressors with having to get to an appointment. With virtual therapy, you can login anywhere you have privacy. The therapeutic work can be done just as effectively as if it were in person. Have more concerns about the process of virtual therapy? ,How does therapy work?

Therapy does not look the same for everyone. It is not linear. One cannot predict how many sessions it takes. I work from a person first perspective, and am pretty laid back and flexibility with how our sessions look. My focus is you. You need to feel safe and secure in our therapeutic relationship, so following a specific guideline or approach does not always create that. If there ever any questions, comments or concerns I encourage folks to let me know and we can go from there. 

 

Appointments

Based on the work being done, sessions can be booked weekly or biweekly. For some monthly or less would also be appropriate. I also know that life happens so things can change. During some phases, you may need more consistent sessions, or at others times you could use less. 

I do have a cancellation policy and would need to be informed 24 hours prior to our appointment if you need to cancel/reschedule. If this does not happen, depending on the circumstances, you will still be fully charged.
